Each year in Aegina island is held the mountain race "Aphaia Cup". The race is taking place in the archaeological area of the Aphaia Temple in the Agia Marina village. The race is of moderate and advance difficulty, which leaves the athlets very satisfied. There are several races including running of 15 kilometers, 5 kilometers, race for students. The race has got starting point the Temple of Aphaia.
