THE TOWN OF ANITSAIO

East from Pahia Rahi and at an altitude of 230 meters, is the old settlement of Anitsaio. The view of the island as well as the bay of Saronikos, is fantastic.

There are few houses and the landscape is typical of that in the Cyclades with a rocky look, a bushy vegetation and round the village there are olive trees and vineyards. A wind mill in the center of the village proves that the old inhaditants of Anitsaio were involved in agriculture.
